This is a blog of the Batch of 1979, St Pauls' High School, Belgaum. It took 31 long year's for this to happen, but it did and here we are... we've come from far and wide, looking good, standing tall through labor and toil, failure and success, pain and joy, agony and ecstasy... yeah and all of us have let the light shine one way or the other.....

Reunion on 3 Dec 2010
Guys! Guys! Guys!
It was wonderful! Your response was overwhelming. Thanks from the bottom of our hearts! Meeting our teachers, inviting them and getting in touch with each one of you was a great experience. May the Good Lord bless the Class of '79! I am sure that each one of you had a great time after 31 long years. Keep the spirit burning pals. We would like to have many more such reunions. We at the core committee are always willing to spend time and effort to bring together our classmates at any given time and at any notice. Belgaum and St. Paul's beckons you boys and it is your duty to respond.
Pals with the nominal sum collected for the evening and contributing from the same towards the Grand Reunion on the 4th & 5th of Dec we will not be in a position to provide for the charity that we had planned. The planned charities are described on the programme schedule that were distributed to you on that day. That was the only shortcoming of our agenda. I hope you will forgive our transgress on this front and suggest what can be done to help those that are our own to stand on their feet or help their dependents at the same time not forgetting dependents of those who have taught us that have fallen on bad times oweing to misfortune.
We are in the process of compiling the directory and request those who have not yet given their photos to post them pronto to Ravi Kakati.

Our Teachers
Can one really describe the feeling of meeting one's school teachers after over 30 years? Well I for one won't be able to! The joy of meeting the ones that have taught us in school elicited different responses from various guys who had gone to invite them. Some remembered a mild mannered teacher who had slapped him ( obviously for some mischief ) while another remembered the amount of punishment he had taken from another. Yet a few remembered what was taught in class by another Sir. Well guys when we felt such great pleasure in meeting them individually imagine what will happen when we meet them to-gether on the 3rd of Dec 2010.
About the programme on the 3rd and subsequent days there is a slight change in the agenda which Ravi Kakati will update shortly.
