..Can We Ever Forget?

...It's here that the Jesuit fathers of St Paul's devoted their lives to make us cultured, educated and decent human beings...for over a 100 years...many of them have gone to be with their creator...but their example and sacrifice lives through us all...

...A Great Hiding Place...

...this is where we eventually found ourselves...going up the stairs...to escape the principal and the vice-principal... whenever we got thrown out...fortunately the roof had only spent artillery shells...not the real thing...or who knows...the facade would have been quite different today!

...Have You Seen Anything like It Ever? Even In A World Cup?

..We all sat on these steps and watched as Tony, our football back  scored a direct kick goal from before the half way line...

...it was here that rafique tied knots around the St Xavier's team.. St Mary's got plundered.... BMS got booted out of the tournament...St Andrew's got knocked out and we landed in the final...the only time our school did in the eleven years we spent there...

...Corridors Of Mischief And Learning

...Thank god no one is standing outside the class today...Fr Toscano is just coming up the stairs...

...Our Best Boy Got Us Together

...It is our best boy Ramangaouda Timmanaikar and our illustrious batch mate Ravi Kakti who went out of their way to get us back together...

..The Bell Rings On & On & On....

...The bell hasn't changed...the bell ringers have...and if you listen... you can still hear it ringing...you can still hear  korde, punjabi & doshi...

Stairway To Heaven?

...Here's where we ran up and down, jostled for space and pride, fell and rose...
...here's where we learned to keep climbing....on and on...
... if you look hard into the memories locked in your mind..... you can even see Fr Lima turning the corner...
